Mark is a finance partner who focuses on complex structured financial products and arrangements, financial market infrastructure and fintech.

Mark’s structured finance practice covers the full spectrum of structured finance arrangements, including collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), risk retention structures, repackagings, fund financings, fund derivatives and balance sheet issuances. His financial market infrastructure practice includes advising financial institutions and clearing houses in relation to exchanges, derivatives clearing and payments.

In addition, Mark supports clients in the fintech arena; advising them on crypto-assets, derivatives over crypto-assets, stable coins, central bank-backed arrangements, crypto-asset-based collateral platforms and a wide variety of other innovative and exploratory projects.

Mark joined Reed Smith from Linklaters where he worked between 2004 and 2023 in their London and New York offices.
